Today was the 6th TUI Marathon, the main streets of Palma were collapsed, but that was for a good reason. This is the first festivity that is organized by people that is not from the island.

La feria del ram es la feria tradicional de Palma, tiene muchas atracciones y diversiones para niños y mayores, es muy interesante.
Fira del Ram is eine wunderbares fest, viel zu essen und auch viele saches zu machen in eine wuderbares platz.
This year the fun fair Es Ram is open from the 29th of February to the 20th of april. Have fun there!
Ater the winter holiday, today 3 rd of February, the train of Soller opens again
Almost everybody that goes to Palma, takes one day excursion to Soller, to Soller you go with the small train of Soller, this train is one century old and is really a journey to the past, you can stay in soller, also there is a tram that takes you to the port of Soller.

In San Sebastian eve, is the big day on San Sebastian celebration. Well, it is better to say the big night. People meet to cook meat and sausage, it is very nice.
On the night before Sant Sebastian eve, there is a big concert, this year, the concert was great, here are some pictures and a video of the concert
Saint Sebastian is the saint patron of the city of Palma. In the middle ages there was a terrible pest, that affected Palma, as nobody found a solution, everybody prayed to saint sebastian, the pest left and since that day, saint Sebastian is the patron of Palma. Nowdays, fire, firewors and party make the festivity.
Every year for Saint Sebastian there is a bicicle race arround the city, it is reall fun, young and old people go there. The race goes from Plaza Santa Eulalia to Castell de Bellver

It is typical that for Sant Antoni, all the people take their pets to the church, they go there on parade, this makes something very typical for the city
In on the 5th of January there is the celebration of the Three Holy Kings, it is a great parade

This year, the arrival of the new year was a little special. As soon the bell arrived to twelve o´clock, there was one second that nobody said anything. Then of course people shouted and celebrated the new year, but for one second, people doubted if the arrival of the new year was good or bad news.
The coming of the new year, is celebrated always in Plaza de Cort
