Palm Sunday is a very interesting day on the holy week, because is the only day that the penitents do not carry candles. The procession is very cool.

Today is the first procesion of the holy week. It is called es Prego, comes out from San Miguel street and goes to Sant Francesc, three representatives of every group come out with their flag. It is a procesion full of color. Starts at 7:30, what we can see today, it is a small representation of every group (three with them and the flag) Enjoy it! In the pregon there is always a great concert. Luckily I have been able to record it so here you can hear the concert

La feria del ram es la feria tradicional de Palma, tiene muchas atracciones y diversiones para niƱos y mayores, es muy interesante.

Fira del Ram is eine wunderbares fest, viel zu essen und auch viele saches zu machen in eine wuderbares platz.

Ater the winter holiday, today 3 rd of February, the train of Soller opens again
Almost everybody that goes to Palma, takes one day excursion to Soller, to Soller you go with the small train of Soller, this train is one century old and is really a journey to the past, you can stay in soller, also there is a tram that takes you to the port of Soller.

Saint Sebastian is the saint patron of the city of Palma. In the middle ages there was a terrible pest, that affected Palma, as nobody found a solution, everybody prayed to saint sebastian, the pest left and since that day, saint Sebastian is the patron of Palma. In this painting we see the death on top of city of Palma in the middle ages


Nowdays, fire, firewors and party make the festivity.


Every year for Saint Sebastian there is a bicicle race arround the city, it is reall fun, young and old people go there. The race goes from Plaza Santa Eulalia to Castell de Bellver
